Halva cookies reminds me of home. This very nostalgic taste that melts in your mouth is simply unforgettable. I find myself longing for these cookies every once in a while. For the softness and delicate sweetness.
If you've ever had Halva before, you know what I'm talking about, and if you've never had Halva in your life- oh my, you are missing on one of life's pleasures, and it is definitely time to try it and get addicted.
Halva cookies are also called "Tahini Cookies", because they are made with...Tahini. Yes, you read it right.

Ingredients:
*For 20 cookies
5 Tbsp raw tahini (the buttery kind)
3 Tbsp coconut or maple sugar (I use maple sugar from Whole Foods)
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Cup almond flour
Instructions:
*Preheat the oven to 340 degrees.
1. Put all the ingredients in a medium bowl and simply mix with a spoon or with your hands.
2. Make little balls with your hands and place them on a cookie sheet, allowing some space between each cookie.
3. Bake the cookies for 20 minutes. Then allow them to cool before removing them from the cookie sheet.
4. Enjoy!
