It wouldn’t be the holidays without Christmas Ghosts rattling chains, Bob Cratchit struggling to provide a holiday dinner for Tiny Tim, and Ebenezer Scrooge discovering that money is not what makes the world go around.  

Come warm your hearts by the fire of this perennial favorite, and take its glow with you throughout the entire season.

SPRING AWAKENING AT DR. PHILLIPS CENTER

DayStar Studio Productions has announced that the groundbreaking rock musical SPRING AWAKENING will play at the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts June 19 through 26.
Tickets to SPRING AWAKENING at the Dr. Phillips Center go on sale Friday, May 6, at 10AM. Tickets can be purchased at DrPhillipsCenter.org, by calling 844-513-2014, or by visiting the Dr. Phillips Center box office located at 445 South Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando.

Just as on Broadway, the show will have a limited number of on-stage seats available for purchase. These seats provide an exciting and unique way for guests to experience the performance with the action of the show taking place all around them.

Winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, SPRING AWAKENING follows a group of young students as they navigate through teenage self-discovery and coming of age anxiety. Set against the backdrop of a repressive and provincial late 19th century Germany, SPRING AWAKENING is a powerful celebration of youth and rebellion.

Welcome to Heartsville High, set in a world where everyone is gay--well, almost everyone! The big-man-on-campus is the chess champion, and the captain of the football team is made cool by being cast as the lead in the school musical. The students write a controversial show called "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" about straight people in the military, which becomes the catalyst for a young man and woman to fall in love. Enter Zanna, a magical, musical fairy who, with a wave of his wand, brings true love to one and all! But at what cost?

New Musical Comes Off Broadway This Fall

Noa will originate the role of Durga in the new original musical

"The Rajah's Son & Princess Labam"by Nishi Rajan.

A tale of soulmates: a young Prince named Kiran, the Rajah's Son, and his childhood sweetheart, the Princess Labam. Separated as children by a great war that tears apart India, twenty years later, the Prince and Princess reunite to save Kiran's father who has been poisoned, defeat the evil Hindu Gods Dharmendra and Durga and save all the Kingdoms of India.

The musical and its production is being filmed for a weekly reality tv documentary series by New York City film director Zach De'Epey. Filming began during auditions in early August and will showcase the struggles involved with bringing to life a large independent non-union Indian musical to the Off-Broadway world of New York City.

The musical will have original music produced by Nishi Rajan, part American-pop and part Indian-dance, with Indian dance (Bharatanatyam) choreography by Bina Kalpesh and Vaishali Choudhary. Fight scenes and stage combat choreography by Alex Kabiri. Live music will be provided by members of Nishi's band, the Nights, with guitar accompaniment by Ari Reiser.

ELEVATORS TO EDEN

Amy has deal for the first time in her life with the death of a close family member. Her best friend- her grandfather. Throughout the play she is going through the five stages of grief, but what helps her the most is her dreams and the help of a mysterious angel. 
Elevators to Eden is an original play about love, loss and recovering, written by Noa Carmel.

Dedicated to the late David Berson, a very respectable eye doctor in Israel who helped many people.

 

The world premier of the play 'Elevators to Eden' will happen this July at the Thespis Theater Festival in New York City.
